My ancestors came from England as early settlers in 1633 and founded my hometown of Wallingford Connecticut in 1670, and one my ancestors, Lyman Hall, was a Signer of the Declaration of Independence. Their fire and passion for Liberty has always been an inspiration for me to one day serve my country. That day has come. In my adult life I dedicated 40 years to being a Strength and Conditioning Coach where I trained athletes, both physically and mentally to reach their full potential. My techniques empowered them to be Olympians, Olympic Medalists, first round draft picks as professional athletes and positioned them to earn college scholarships that helped pave their way to successful lives.

I’ve been married to my beautiful wife Nicole for 29 years and together we have raised a family of 5 children. 

As a concerned American and a parent I have believe that our nation’s future and our children’s and their generations future is at risk and therefore I am running for Congress to build a stronger America.

America today needs strong leaders and I will work to insure that my children’s generation, and generations to come will continue to enjoy the God given rights to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness as have been bequeathed by our Founders.  -John D. McBride
